HIP OPSESSION

Organisé par l'association Pick Up Production, HIP OPSESSION est un festival qui valorise la richesse et la diversité de la culture hip hop à travers ses différentes disciplines : danse, musique, graffiti... Le festival propose 15 jours de manifestations en tout genre (concerts, spectacles de danse, compétitions artistiques, expositions, stages....) dans une vingtaine de lieux de l'agglomération nantaise.
Outre son rôle de diffusion artistique, le festival est conçu comme un levier d'action culturelle et sociale permettant de répondre à des questions d'isolement des publics, des pratiques amateurs, d'éducation artistique et d'accessibilité à la culture.

HIP OPSESSION is a festival organised by the association Pick Up Production, and which enhances the cultural wealth and the diversity of the Hip Hop culture through its different disciplines: dance, music, graffiti… The festival offers different kinds of events (concerts, dance shows, artistic challenges, exhibitions, training courses…) on 15 days in about twenty places of Nantes conurbation.
Beyond the aim of artistic spread, the festival has been created as a social and cultural actor which provides answers to public isolation issues, amateur practices, artistic education and accessibility to the culture.
