ABOUT
Dominique Fiat Gallery is established since 2004, in the heart of Contemporary Art district in Paris, Le Marais, along the Picasso Museum.

The gallery’s program is comprised of artists working in different mediums, with a special interest in installations and site-specific projects. It cuts across disciplines to take a deeper look at different forms of languages, new technologies and traditionnal technics. We are also interested in works taking history into consideration.

By representing cutting-edge young international artists, the gallery has discovered amongst others, in 2005 Camille Henrot ( first solo-show in a gallery, FIAC 2005, Nuit Blanche 2006...), and young Moroccan artists Safâa Erruas in 2008 (solo-show at the gallery, Art International Istanbul, Institut du Monde Arabe) and Hicham Berrada (FIAC 2012, Palais de Tokyo 2013 and youngest resident ever at the Villa Medecis in 2013).

The gallery has developed a new branch and giving a special attention to art from Morocco, Middle-East and more generally Africa from North to South and more. On another hand, the gallery carries on defending the Light and Space artists from the Los Angeles art scene. In 2017, Dominique Fiat initiated the multidisciplinary festival and exhibition «Afriques Capitales» at La Villette with over 50 artists from the African contemporary art scene with the curator Simon Njami.

The gallery is developing a dynamic exhibition space and a stimulating environment for art production and exchanges. The gallery is entirely committing itself to a real policy of production and stands up for artistic works in which it believes in with public and private partnerships.
